I have the great privilege of being minister here with my wife. I also take great delight in being the father of three nearly grown up children - Daisy, Molly & Thomas. Before Ferndown we've led churches in London, Southend-on-Sea and on Dartmoor in Devon. Before becoming a Baptist minister I had careers in acute nursing and in youth work. With my time off I love what others find boring - History, trains & cheese! |

Hi! I’m another of the ministers and I am married to Darren. Yes we work and live together! I am passionate about telling people about Jesus who can make all the difference. I’m a Devonian but love living in Dorset and am so happy to be a minister at UCF. I’m an Exeter City FC fan, I enjoy crocheting and love a bit of glitter! |

It is a real privilege to serve as one of the deacons of United Church Ferndown despite having been a part of the church for less than three years. Originally from the Isle of Wight, I moved to the area after accepting a job teaching in a local Christian secondary school. |

Hi I'm Pete. With my wife Ali we have 4 children and 3 grandchildren. When not working I enjoy time with my family and long walks with the dog, taking in God's wonderful creation. When I get the chance I also love cycling on the many local countryside trails and beyond. Please be assured of a warm welcome and we would love to see you at any of our many church activities.

I am one of the deacons at UCF. I’m married with two sons and six grandchildren (one girl and five boys). I teach swimming, which I love, am often in the garden trying to get plants to grow and attempt to keep the house clean and tidy (an impossible task for me). I have a book called, ‘People matter more than things’ and if people notice the numerous spider webs in our house, they’ve missed what really matters!

Hi, I am one of the Deacons on the leadership team at the United Church Ferndown and I am one of the regular worship leaders on the music team playing guitar and bass in our Sunday services. I am married to Pam and we have two 'grown up' kids, both now at Uni. When I am not involved in supporting the Church or setting up for a Sunday...I'll be mistaken for that other guy in U2. |

Hi, I’m Natalie and am one of the deacons here at UCF. I have 3 young daughters so am usually very busy being a mum! I’m born and raised in Dorset but love to travel any chance I get. I love seeing different parts of the world and immersing myself in different cultures. I am very blessed to be a member at UCF as everyone is so warm and welcoming. |

Hi, my husband (Rick) and I moved to Ferndown from Maidstone in 2012. In 2013, we both became Church members, and I also became the Church Treasurer. I am involved in a number of Church activities - lunch club catering, audio/visual team and annual kids club helper.

I was born in Reading in 1953 and adopted at the age of two into a family with two sisters living in Didcot. I moved to Upton at the age of seven and left home at 14. I lived independently until by first marriage aged 28 - Soundly Born of the Lord in February 1979 at Lansdown Baptist Church being baptised three months later on Easter Sunday. I have worked with the elderly most of my life in different ways. Initially with home help and then at the Day Centre and then as a cook in a nursing home. I remarried in 2002 but sadly lost my husband in 2023. God has been so faithful. Being at UCF for me is like belonging to a family where I know I am loved and accepted. |

I was born in Kinson and then later the family moved near to Hengisbury Head, so I am a local! Horses are my passion, so I trained and qualified as a Riding Instructor. I have also worked in Switzerland and Germany then at the Barrington Centre in Ferndown for twenty three years. Now I enjoy walking, cycling and gardening whilst enjoying nature. |
